Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) rehabilitated SR-210 (Little Cottonwood Canyon) near Tanners Flat Campground. Work included replacing damaged guard rail and installing new concrete barriers and gutter. This project was carried out to maintain the road and improve safety in the canyon. Construction was completed in September 2025.

Pre-Construction Activities

  • 3rd party utility work will begin on gas lines in the project area as early as Monday, June 16.

Construction (June 2025 - September 2025)

Construction is anticipated to begin on June 18, 2025.

Construction activities will include:

  • 3rd party utility work in the project area.
  • Replacing damaged guard rail.
  • Installing new concrete barriers and gutter.

Traffic control will be in place 24/7

  • Signalized one-way traffic through the work zone will be in place during construction.

Work hours: Day work (7 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

Work days: Monday - Friday

Traffic control will remain in place 24/7 Monday - Friday.
