Paving Project Background

UDOT conducted a project to renew SR-67 (Legacy Parkway) from 500 South in Bountiful to the I-15 ramps in Farmington. This project included removing and replacing the top layer of asphalt, repairing soft spots in the road, and updating road signs and striping.

This project extended the life of the existing pavement, and provided a better driving experience for motorists.


Work began on June 10, 2024 and concluded in early November 2024.

Safety Project Background

This was a separate UDOT project focused on making safety improvements along the entirety of Legacy Parkway. The project involved the installation of, or replacement of, guardrail and cable barrier along the shoulders and median. Barrier is an important safety component of our transportation system that helps keep vehicles from leaving the road.

Work began in late August 2024 and concluded in late November 2024.

Work will take place at night, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., up to seven nights a week.
