Upcoming Construction Activities*

The 5400 South Improved Project from 4800 West to Bangerter Highway will be substantially complete as early as mid-November

• Crews will continue to have minimal traffic control devices in the area for short-term activities, including utility work, striping, and project finalization tasks.
• These activities will occur during daytime hours (6 a.m. – 3 p.m.)

Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will resurface 5400 South from 4800 West to Bangerter Highway from July 31 through late fall 2023*. This project will resurface the roadway to extend the life of the pavement, replace various utility covers, and reconstruct various pedestrian access ramps.

Drivers are advised to expect changing traffic patterns, intermittent lane restrictions, and to follow posted detours.
