I-84 & 4400 South | Riverdale | Bridge Work
I-84 & 4400 South | Riverdale | Bridge Work
Overview
Project Description
The Utah Department of Transportation is replacing three bridges in Riverdale. The 4400 South bridge over I-15 was successfully rebuilt, and it reopened on June 16, 2026. Work continues on the two ramp bridges carrying traffic to and from I-15 to I-84 over 4400 South. This work began August 11, 2025 and is expected to conclude in fall 2026.
4400 South (under I-84) between 1250 West/Parker Drive and Cozy Dale Drive is open while crews construct the bridge walls. Traffic is currently limited to one lane. Flaggers will direct traffic. Travelers can expect delays of 15 minutes or more until both lanes open in the morning.
