Project Description:

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) resurfaced I-80 in Parley’s Canyon, from Lower Parleys to exit 134. The project objectives were aimed at preserving the life of the road. This paving process not only helped increase the longevity of the road but also addressed roadway structural integrity and enhanced motorist safety by providing a smoother, more durable road surface. The on/off ramps along the route were also resurfaced. Additional work included variable drainage enhancements, barrier upgrades, refreshed road surface striping, and updated roadside signage.
