I-80 | Jeremy Ranch | Bridges Reconstruction

I-80 | Jeremy Ranch | Bridges Reconstruction

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will replace the eastbound and westbound Interstate 80 bridges at the Jeremy Ranch interchange in Summit County.

Impacts & Schedule

Get Ready: Jeremy Ranch Construction Starts Again

Work on the I-80 Jeremy Ranch Bridges Reconstruction project will start again as early as Tuesday, Sept. 8. Homestead Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction, so give yourself some extra time and watch for signs as you drive through the area.

The Homestead Road trail will stay open but will move onto the road for approximately two weeks. It will then move to another temporary location for the remainder of the project. Barrels will separate trail users from traffic, creating a protected route through the work zone.

What To Expect During Construction

  • Lane closures on Homestead Road throughout construction

  • Day work Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (night work as needed)

  • Trail shifted to the road

  • Trucks entering and exiting the work zone

  • Increased noise, dust, and vibration in the project area

  • Up to two weekends of full road closures on I-80 at Jeremy Ranch in 2027
