UDOT is starting a major construction project on I-215 West from SR-201 to North Temple. Project Elements include: Roadway resurfacing, Rehabilitating 22 bridges, Improving 14 miles of ramps.
Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is starting a major construction rehabilitation project on I-215 West from SR-201 to North Temple. Project Elements include:
- Roadway reconstruction
- Rehabilitation of 22 bridges
- Pavement reconstruction on 14 miles of ramps on I-80 and California Avenue
Beginning Monday morning, motorists should expect northbound I-215 to be reduced to three lanes. This lane closure will remain in place through next year. In early August, northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to three lanes in each direction and shifted away from the center to allow for construction to take place in the center of the freeway.
