The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) held an online public meeting and an in-person public hearing in November to review findings for the I-15 Santaquin environmental study.

STUDY OVERVIEW

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has initiated an environmental study that will evaluate widening I-15 between Payson and Rocky Ridge, and improving the I-15 and Main Street interchange in Santaquin.

 

The study will evaluate current and future traffic conditions in the study area. UDOT intends to prepare an Enivonmental Assessment (EA) in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this study are being or have been carried out by UDOT pursuant to 23 USC 327 and a memorandum of understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and UDOT.
