UDOT will preserve 8 bridges at 4 locations along Interstate 15, east of Mona, by rehabilitating the bridge decks and resurfacing the road to extend the life of the interstate.

Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will preserve eight bridges at four locations along Interstate 15 east of Mona by rehabilitating the bridge decks. In addition to the bridge improvements, the project includes a full resurfacing of the road to extend the life of the interstate. This preservation effort will strengthen existing infrastructure, improve ride quality, and enhance safety for all drivers traveling through the area.

Project Milestones

Bridge & Structure Work: April 19 - May 21

  • Crews repaired 8 bridges from Rocky Ridge to Nephi. 

Barrier Work: June 2 - August 5

    • Crews renewed cattle guards and cable barrier throughout the project area

    Paving Work: June 14 - August 7

    • Crews paved the road throughout the project area as well as the on- and off-ramps.
