Project Overview

We are planning improvements to Interstate 15 (I-15) in Box Elder County to enhance safety, reduce congestion, and improve travel efficiency. The project will add an inside lane on I-15 between the US-91 (1100 South) interchange in Brigham City and the State Route 240 (SR-240) interchange in Honeyville.

This segment of I-15 currently has limited passing opportunities and carries a high volume of truck and semi traffic. Adding a third lane will increase capacity, improve traffic flow, and help reduce overall travel times.

This project also includes replacing and widening the State Route 13 (SR-13) bridges over I-15. The existing bridges have reached the end of their service life and features outdated design elements that no longer meet current speed and design standards.

Additional improvements include installing new concrete median barrier and upgrading storm drain systems to support long-term roadway performance and safety.
