Overview
Detour Notice
The northbound I-15 on-ramp at 10600 South will be closed during the evening work hours (9 P.M. to 5 A.M) starting Tuesday, April 14, through Thursday, April 16. Traffic will be detoured to southbound I-15, exiting at 11400 South, where drivers can turn around and re-enter northbound I-15.

Overview
This project is a high-volume preservation project on I-15 from 10600 South to 9000 South (MP 294 to MP 296), spanning approximately two miles from South Jordan to Sandy City. This project will include roadway concrete repairs, evaluation and replacement of pedestrian ramps, removal of existing substandard signs, high-visibility striping, and pothole patching and polymer overlay at 10000 S Bridge. This project will help increase public safety, improve roadway conditions, and expand mobility.
Schedule
Construction began on April 6, 2026. To minimize travel impacts during construction, crews will shift travel lanes and/or close them incrementally as they work to repair the road and enhance the highway. The public is encouraged to visit the UDOT Traffic website or app at udottraffic.utah.gov for the latest closure status and construction updates.
What to Expect
Night work will occur from 9:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M., Sunday through Thursday nights, for the duration of the project.
Occasional nightwork will occur on weekends as needed.
Moving operations with shifting and closed lanes.
Drivers should follow marked traffic patterns during construction.
