Study Overview

UTA and UDOT are partnering to conduct an environmental study to assess the impacts of potential FrontRunner improvements in the southern part of Salt Lake County near Bluffdale and Draper cities. This study, along with the FrontRunner 2X project, will support efforts to expand commuter rail service along the Wasatch Front. UTA and UDOT will explore the impacts of a potential new station and the additional double tracking required to maintain 15-minute peak service frequency made possible by the FrontRunner 2X project.
