Foothill Drive Safety Project

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and Salt Lake City have begun construction to improve the intersection of Foothill Drive (SR-186) and Kensington Avenue. The project will install a new pedestrian and cyclist crossing on Foothill Drive at Kensington Avenue. This project will also add a center-running median on Foothill Drive, new pedestrian ramps on the corners, improve drainage and a dedicated right-turn lane from Foothill Drive to Kensington Avenue. Left-turns will no longer be permitted.

Please pay attention to all traffic signs and exercise caution while travelling through the work zone.

This project is on track for completion in mid October.
