Project Overview

To enhance safety for drivers, UDOT will replace and upgrade the lane striping (shoulder lines, Express Lane markings, and skip lines) on Utah's urban freeways and major highway corridors.

In Utah County, crews will upgrade the lane striping on I-15 from 800 South in Payson to Lehi Main Street.

In Salt Lake, Davis, Toeele, and Summit counties, lane markings will be upgraded along sections of I-15, I-215, I-80, and SR-201.

Drivers should expect mostly nighttime work with lane restrictions, shifting lanes, reduced speeds and moderate travel delays.

Photo displays enhanced striping on the HOV and left lanes. Older striping is in the right lanes.
