The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is improving State Route 106 (SR-106) in Farmington between the US-89 interchange and 1700 South, and SR-225 (Park Lane) between the US-89 interchange and SR-106.
This project will extend the life of the road and provide a smoother ride by removing and replacing the top layer of asphalt. In addition to resurfacing the roadway the project will be performing the following:
- Pedestrian crossings: Rebuilding and making modifications to ensure pedestrian sidewalk crossings meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
- Pavement Soft Spots: Remove and repair pavement sections that have failed due to age.
- Roadway signing and striping: New signs and striping will be placed throughout the project limits. Striping improvements will be made specifically along SR-106, between Glovers Lane and 1700 South.
