Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation will begin construction to connect a section of Multi-Use Trail on SR-128 near the Colorado River in Moab. These improvements will connect a gap in the existing trail adjacent to the roadway. During construction, crews will be utilizing flaggers or temporary traffic signals, and traffic will be reduced to one single lane throughout the corridor. Motorists should expect delays of up to 15 minutes when traveling through the area.

It is important to note that walking, running, or hiking through the area will not be permitted during construction. Cyclists are encouraged to avoid the corridor but will be allowed to pass through the flagging area.
