We are committed to maintaining the safety and reliability of bridges throughout the state. The Structures Division has identified three bridges in Box Elder County requiring maintenance, repairs, or replacement to ensure public safety.
Key Highlights:
This project will involve three bridges in Box Elder County at the following locations:
1000 North over I-84 at Garland/Bothwell Interchange (EXIT 39)
Project: Bridge Deck Replacement
Timeline: October 1, 2024 through December 19, 2024
Impact: Full closure of this bridge for 2-3 months. Detours will be in place.
SR-102 over I-84 at Tremonton/Bothwell Interchange (EXIT 40)
Project: Bridge Deck Replacement
Timeline: Spring 2025 through Summer 2025
Impact: Full bridge closure from May 31, 2025 through August 24, 2025
18400 N over I-84 at Pocatello Valley Interchange (EXIT 24)
Project: Full Bridge Replacement
Timeline: Spring 2025 through Fall 2025
Impact: Full closure for 6-7 months with detours to adjacent interchanges.
Nearby residents will notice construction-related noise and vibration.
