Overview

Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), in conjunction with Salt Lake County and the City of West Jordan, are proposing the construction of a two-way shared-use path as part of the Utah Trail Network. This paved trail will connect the Jordan River Trail to the Bingham Creek Regional Park, enhancing mobility and accessibility across Salt Lake County.

Study Area

The study is considering placing the trail on several streets in West Jordan, including portions of 9000 South, 3200 West, 2700 West, Sugar Factory Road, Redwood Road and 1300 West. Placing the trail along the existing UTA Trax line is also an option. The study areas that are being looked at as potential project areas to connect Jordan River Parkway and Bingham Creek Regional Park together with a trail.
