Project Activities:

  • Crews have installed the final signal arms and switched power over to the new signals at the intersection of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and North County Boulevard. The new signals at 2000 West and Grove Parkway have been powered on and are now operational.. Motorists are advised to slow down and pay attention to the new signals.
  • Crews will install the islands at the intersection of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and North County Boulevard beginning next week. Motorists can expect single-lane closures during the day while crews pour new concrete..
  • Asphalt paving continues through late June nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists can expect single-lane closures during this work and are advised to use alternate routes.
  • Beginning Monday, July 8, crews will paint the final striping and messaging along the project corridor.

Project Overview

 The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is increasing capacity, improving safety, and helping traffic move more efficiently through the Pleasant Grove and North County Boulevard areas. The project is building additional left turn lanes at the North County/Pleasant Grove Boulevard intersection and widening Pleasant Grove Boulevard to improve access to northbound I-15. Additional improvements include: new curb, gutter, sidewalk landscaping.

 

Impacts will include traffic shifts, narrowed lanes,  lane closures, intermittent access limitations and night work.
