Project Overview

During a routine inspection of bridge decks along I-80 and I-215 near the mouth of Parley's Canyon, damage was found underneath one bridge for EB I-80 where E I-215 WB passes underneath. Damage appears to be caused by a truck or large load hitting the girders. 

The damage is minor and the bridge is safe for traffic to use. The damage to the bridge girder is repaired and the bridge will last for years to come. 

Project Map

The project area is on the E I-215 WB ramp to I-80 WB near the mouth of Parley's Canyon. 

Lane closures will be limited to overnight work. 

Project Timeline

This project will last through October 26 (weather depending).
