Road resurfacing causes uneven road surfaces, and loose gravel throughout the corridor. Please use caution and prioritize safety while travelling through the construction area. Reduce speed, follow posted signage, and be alert of crew members and equipment.

Ongoing Work

Crews have completed work on the road base and riprap along the project route. Next week, crews will begin installing rumble strips and applying chip seal. Please continue to use caution when traveling through the area and watch for workers and equipment.

What is chip seal?

Chip seal is a process used to seal small cracks and prevent water from penetrating the road base. Chip sealing a road helps improve traction, and extend the life of the roadway.

Workdays: Monday - Thursday
