Projects Overview

We are investing in major improvements on I-80 and SR-224 between Salt Lake and Summit Counties over the next few years. These routes are vital, connecting communities from Salt Lake to Park City and getting deliveries from businesses to your door. 

This is your one-stop shop for information on all the UDOT construction projects on I-80 and SR-224 in Summit County and Parleys Canyon. Over the next few years spanning 12 projects; four miles of pavement will be replaced, eight bridges will be improved or replaced, three intersections will be improved, and a new bus rapid transit system will be constructed on SR-224. An infographic showing that I-80 will have six construction projects in Summit and Salt Lake Counties, improving bridges at eight location, 49 miles of culvert rehabilitation, 11 miles of fiber installation, 22 miles of repaving. SR-224 will have three projects in Park City, two intersections improved, and one new bus rapid transit system. (e23076)
