UDOT is replacing two existing culverts that cross beneath SR-147 (7300 South) just west of 4850 West in Benjamin. Construction will consist of removing and replacing the larger box culvert for Benjamin Slough and a smaller pipe culvert near the intersection to improve drainage in the area. Work is expected to begin as soon as August 21, 2023.

During work hours, Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and occasionally on weekends as needed, you can anticipate lane closures, one-way flagging operations, detours, and moderate traffic delays. There will also be increased noise, dust, and vibrations typically associated with construction.
