Several near misses have been reported during Waterford’s
pick-up and drop-off times. In addition, angle crashes have
occurred at 1700 E. To improve safety, the following is
recommended:
• Limit the location of left-turn movements by implementing
left-turn lanes with center medians.
Provide a westbound flashing yellow arrow at 1700 E to
improve safety for vehicles turning left onto 1700 E.
