7800 S. State Street Intersection Improvement

This project is substantially complete. Final cleanup will take place this week and should be finished this weekend (August 24). 

The intersection at 7800 S. State street is being improved for safety and accessibility. Principal work to be completed includes traffic control, installation of pedestrian access ramps, and roadway excavation. The northbound right-turn lane will be reorganized to improve traffic flows and prevent double right turns. The crosswalk will also be moved from the north of the intersection to the south. These upgrades will improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists as well as drivers. Refreshed lane and roadway painting/striping will be applied following the work. Expect lane closures and traffic congestion. Consider using an alternate route if possible.

Work Hours: 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Workdays: Monday - Friday

Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and material availability.

No work will be done on holidays.
