Construction Update
Construction is nearly complete on the Northbound I-15 on-ramp at 5300 South!
As construction is finishing drivers should remain alert to traffic control and lane shifts in the area during active construction. Continue to use caution and reduce speed in the work zone.
Crews anticipate completing roadway striping work at night this week. Miscellaneous repairs and site cleanup will also be occurring.
Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is widening the northbound I-15 on-ramp at 5300 S. Construction is expected to continue through summer 2023.* This project will improve traffic flow and resurface the roadway to extend the life of the pavement.
Motorists are advised to expect changing traffic patterns, intermittent lane restrictions, and to follow posted detours.
*Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather, utility, and material delays.
