Project Description:
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will resurface State Route 171 (3300 S.) in Salt Lake County from Highland Drive to 2700 E. The project objectives are aimed at preserving the life of the road. This paving process will help increase the longevity of the road surface and enhance motorist safety by resmoothing asphalt. Additional work includes upgraded pedestrian ramps to meet ADA compliance, refreshed lane and road painting/striping, as well as updated roadside signage.

12/4/24 NOTICE: Crews are wrapping up some drainage rebuild work between 2500 and 2700 E. All Barrels should be cleared by the Thursday, Dec. 12
12/12/24 NOTICE; There are tentative plans to continue preservation work from 2700 E to I-215 in 2025. Details will be forthcoming on this project website.
