Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is widening 1600 North (State Route 241 / SR-241) between 1200 West in Lindon and State Street in Orem and adding a shared-use path and bike lanes. This project will increase vehicle capacity and enhance safety for people who bike or walk.

Final Design Overview

The final design overview map shows a more detailed version of the project area. This includes where the noise walls will be located, intersection improvements at 400 West, 800 West, and State Street, and the shared driveway location between 980 West and 800 West (PIN:18428).

Final Design Cross-Section

The final design cross-section diagram, looking east, shows sidewalks, park strips, bike lanes on both sides, two 11-foot traffic lanes in each direction, and a 12-foot center turn lane. There will be five lanes total. The diagram has illustrations of cars, cyclists, and pedestrians (PIN:18428).

Workdays: Monday – Friday 

Weekend work will take place as needed
