10th West | 1400 N. to 2500 N. | Logan | Study

UDOT plans to widen the roadway on SR 252 (10th West) from a 3-lane road to a 5-lane road in the section from 1400 North to 2500 North, as well as add a dual left turn from 2500 North (Airport Road) to 10th West.

Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is planning to widen the roadway on SR 252 (10th West) from a 3-lane road to a 5-lane road in the section from 1400 North to 2500 North. The intersection at 10th West and 2500 North (Airport Road) will also be modified to accommodate dual left-turn lanes from the westbound lanes on 2500 North westbound (Airport Road) to 10th West southbound. Curb and gutter will not be added as part of this project.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and material availability.

Initial Design and Field Surveys - Summer 2026

  • Field surveys will be conducted to identify potential biological and cultural resources along portions of 10th West and 2500 North. This effort will involve taking photographs and measurements and reviewing vegetation and wildlife. 
  • The Design team will be working on initial drainage and roadway designs.
  • The design team will also assess if any right-of-way agreements need to be acquired.

Construction to begin in Summer 2028

  • The project team will obtain any needed right-of-way agreements through the summer of 2027.
  • Needed permits will be obtained through the summer of 2027
  • Engineers will finalize designs by September 2027
  • A contractor will be selected in the winter months of 2027-2028
  • Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2028.
